SwingWing Golf partners with Ladies Links Fore Golf

SwingWing Golf™, (SwingWingGolf.com) manufacturers of golf’s only inflatable power swing trainer, is pleased to announce that they have partnered with Ladies Links Fore Golf for 2012-2013.

Through the partnership LL4G will help introduce more amateur women golfers to the benefits of playing SwingWing Golf’s 6-in-1 Inflatable Trainer through demonstrations at Ladies Links Fore Golf clinics and Fun Day events. Led by four of the nation’s top-ranked LPGA teaching professionals, LL4G is one of the nation’s largest organizers of public and private golf events for amateur women golfers, with the mission to grow the game of women’s golf worldwide.

“We are very proud of our partnership with SwingWing,” said Lynn Stellman, Ladies Links Fore Golf Chief Executive Officer. “It's is an effective warm-up tool and training aid that helps increase club head speed, which is perfect for LL4G because all of the participants of our Ladies Links Fore Golf events want to hit the ball farther!”

The SwingWing™ is a lightweight, easy-to-inflate 6-in1 training tool that quickly slides over the grip and is positioned near the head of any club. Made of soft, flocked vinyl, the SwingWing will not damage your club and its patented design provides just the right amount of wind-resistance to develop a stronger, faster swing. It’s also the perfect tool for warming-up before you practice or play. With just 10 swings, you're warmed up and ready to play a great round of golf.

“SwingWing Golf is quickly developing a reputation as the innovator behind golf’s only inflatable power swing trainer on today’s market,” said Dan Gitre, SwingWing inventor and CEO SwingWing Golf™. “Through the partnership with Ladies Links Fore Golf, more women will have the opportunity to experience first-hand the multiple benefits of this versatile trainer.”

SwingWing Golf will provide the 6-in-1 Inflatable Power Trainers for exclusive LL4G events, where they will be featured in demonstrations. In 2012 and 2013, Ladies Links Fore Golf is hosting more than 100 women’s events nationwide. The SwingWing Inflatable Trainer also will be showcased on the Ladies Links Fore Golf website, www.LL4G.com, the official online amateur golf community of the LPGA, on the LL4G radio show, and in Ladies Links Fore Golf Magazine, the only national women’s golf magazine written by women golfers for women golfers.

“Wind-resistance training is a proven technique to help improve a golfer's tempo, lag, sequencing, and full body turn, resulting in increased distance off the tee,” said Gitre.

For strength building, swing the club 10 to 20 times, increasing your effort with each swing. To work on your tempo, swing the club and feel the resistance on both your backswing and as you bring the club forward through your swing.

In addition to warming-up, other features and benefits of the SwingWing include:

• Place between your forearms for proper arm position and symmetry

• Stabilize the wrists for controlled chipping and putting

• Place between your knees to involve your legs and torso and maintain a proper base

• Place under one arm to eliminate the “chicken wing”

• Use it as a prop for your clubs at the range or on a wet course

• Use it as an alignment tool or to help visualize and perfect the proper swing plane

After you are finished, the SwingWing can be attached to a towel hook on your bag, or it can be deflated and quickly stored in your golf bag.

Aldila dominates wood, hybrid shaft manufacturer counts at Reno-Tahoe Open

Led by their latest RIP Technology® (Reverse Interlaminar Placement), Aldila continued it domination as the #1 graphite shaft on Tour by winning the wood and hybrid shaft manufacturer counts at the Reno-Tahoe Open. Aldila www.aldila.com had 27 more wood shafts and 7 more hybrid shafts in play than the next leading shaft manufacturer, according to the Darrell Survey.

So far this season, Aldila has won the wood and hybrid shaft manufacturer counts at 32 of 35 PGA Tour events. As more and more Tour players switch to the RIP, Aldila has been challenging for the top spot in the driver shaft count as well. At the Reno-Tahoe Open Aldila tied for the top spot of the driver shaft brand total. “The Hottest Shafts In Golf” also won the hybrid shaft manufacturer count at the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational by 5.

The latest addition to Aldila’s RIP series is the Phenom®, which integrates Aldila’s Tour proven RIP Technology with a unique shaft design to create a new and innovative flex profile for maximum distance and control known as the Hyperbolic Flex Zone. The new technology features a stiff tip section for optimal launch and spin control with a very firm butt section for an incredible stable feel, while the center section of the shaft is softer to provide unmatched kick through impact for maximum ball speed.

“Through the use of a Hyperbolic Flex Zone, the RIP Phenom incorporates the same flex, torque and feel properties that have made the original RIP the leading shaft on the PGA Tour, with a flex profile to achieve unparalleled performance and launch characteristics for better players,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager.

Aldila’s patented shaft design technologies provide the perfect balance of applied art and engineering. They are continually on the leading edge of the golf world through their relentless pursuit of the next best innovation. They do the experimenting so you don’t have to.
